About

Rachel has developed trusted, long-term relationships with a wide cross section of outlets - from the glossies and red tops to weeklies and online media – sustained through her proven ability to get to the heart of a story with maximum reader appeal.

She began her career in the late nineties working on a select range of entertainment titles in the UK and Australia, before moving to the News of the World Magazine in 2004. Throughout these early years, she developed a deep understanding of what it takes to generate compelling celebrity and real life interviews, film, music and TV reviews.  She also gained considerable radio experience, hosting weekly and monthly radio slots focused on the soaps. She's also compiled and presented documentaries for online reports.

Since turning freelance in 2007, Rachel has continued to build an extensive portfolio of work and relationships in the celebrity field, and widened her reach to cover health and fitness, travel, and cause related marketing.  She has written for most of the major national and trade publications relevant to her areas of expertise.  In the celebrity, women’s and entertainment fields, this includes Hello, Cosmopolitan, Stylist, Closer and Sainsburys magazines.  She has appeared regularly in the daily and weekend editions of the nationals, including the Mail, Express, Sun, Mirror and Telegraph.

See her list of OUTLETS below.

Additionally, she has a wealth of experience in writing press packs and advertorials, interviewing for EPKs and ghost writing for celebrities and on subjects of special interest.
